Maximizing Every Sales Lead

Business owners are always looking for sales leads companies to help them generate more quality sales leads, in order to help them grow their business. There are a lot of options out there from purchasing a list of sales leads to more qualified sales leads to social media leads. No matter the type of sales lead, it all comes down to sell, sell, sell, and keep selling. However, not all sales are that easy, especially if you don’t know the right way to talk to your prospect. How much do you know about the person you are about to have a conversation with? Are you going in blind? Are you going to wing it? Questions that obviously look crazy when we read it, but yet, that’s what we do a lot of times. We “wing” the phone call or the meeting. And then we tend to make excuses as to why we didn’t get the business.

The one chance you have to get that person on the phone, or meet with you face-to-face, the last thing you want is to waste that person's time and yours. You always have to think you may never get another chance to speak or meet with this person. The first 20 seconds are incredibly important when selling. You have to show right away that the product you are selling can bring the business owner value.

Involve the business owner in the conversation. Learn about his/her business by asking open-ended questions or having them expand on a process or idea, such as: "That's really interesting. Tell me more about that." Questions that begin with How and What can also keep the business owner talking.

By making the "sales pitch" into a conversation, you will establish rapport, gain trust and credibility, gather information and qualify sales opportunities. It's is a great way to form a meaningful business relationship and increase revenue in the long run.

Remember, people buy from people. Bring value to the conversations, and be interested. Over time, you will close a lot of business.
